Our strain of Broad-leaved Dandelion produces large bushy plants, with broad, succulent leaves of a slightly bitter flavor. Quality is considerably improved by blanching the plants, which can be done by covering them with leaves or other litter, although boarding up like celery or covering with inverted boxes will give better results.
