A 101-year-old woman shows her ink-marked finger after casting her vote through a postal ballot at her home in Agartala, in the presence of election officials and security personnel. Senior citizens aged 85 and above, as well as persons with disabilities, can opt for postal ballots and cast their votes from home, as announced by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar on April 19th this year.
