On April 3, 2019, the opening of the most extensive retrospective in Germany to date was held by the 86-year-old Japanese-American artist Yoko Ono at the MdbK Leipzig. Burkhard Jung, Lord Mayor of Leipzig, Alfred Weidinger, Director of the MdbK, Jon Hendricks, Curator and Jens Faurschou of the Faurschou Foundation spoke at the opening ceremony of 'PEACE is POWER'. Subsequently, Yoko Ono's SKY PIECE TO JESUS ??was performed by members of the Orchestra of the Musical Comedy.
