John Ryan; , at Seward, built in 1870 by Hon. ; St. Marys, in Durand, built in 1869by Rev. M. Hauley; and St. Patricks, at RockRun, in 1895, by Rev. M. J. Sullivan. St. Marys parish is the most expensive in thearchdiocese, of Chicago, being thirtv-eight mileslong and about twenty miles wide and includingparts of Ogle, Winnebago and Stephenson coun-ties, Illinois.
