In 1945, during the 2, this building was air raided by American F-6F, P-51, B-29 aircrafts. Although the building was damaged, power supply facility was safe and active up to 1993. After Tokyo Metropolis purchased this area , this building is now part of Minami-koen park and designated cultural properties historic site.
