A computer generated re-creation of the legendary Thunder Child, the fictitious late Victorian era warship from the novel War of the Worlds. The ship is of a type that did not exist at the time of writing and is loosely based upon the Royal Navy ship, Polyphemus, modified into a coastal defense ship. A design which later become known as the destroyer.
