At Cody there is the Irma Hotel with modern con-veniences and good service at $ per day. At Wapiti there is the Wickiup (or Inn), a uniquestructure of rough boards, accommodating fortyguests, and other smaller buildings (for one or twopersons) with board floors and sides and canvascoverings. The dining tent is 50 x 20 feet. TheWickiup is on Elk Fork at the junction of the Wapiti,the Elk Fork, the Sweet Water and the North Sho-shone rivers. Unexcelled trout fishing is foundwithin a hundred paces of the Wickiup. Elk Forktakes its name from the fact that for years the elkhave made this vicinity their home.
