Original description: The new species, A. glascocki, differs from Broili, in having the expanded apices of the neural spines much largerand marked with a coarser sculpture. The apices of the spines touch butdo not overlap. The intercentra have prominent processes on the sides forthe heads of the ribs. In A. chiton there are facets, a little more prominentthan in Eryops and Trimerorhachis, while in A. glascocki they are extended SYSTEMATIC REVISION 65 far out from the sides of the intercentrum for two or three skull resembles that of Trimeror
