CARTAGENA, Spain (May 12, 2017) Algerian Sailors aboard the Algerian Frigate Rass Keltic (F 902) make preparations to get underway during the at-sea phase of Exercise Phoenix Express 2017 May 12, 2017. Phoenix Express, sponsored by Africa Command and facilitated by Naval Forces Europe- 6th Fleet, is designed to improve regional cooperation, increase maritime domain awareness information sharing practices, and operational capabilities to enhance efforts to achieve safety and security in the Mediterranean Sea.
