At least 70 people have been killed in a petrol pipeline explosion and subsequent fire in the Lunga-Lunga township area in the industrial part of Nairobi, Kenya. According to firefighters, people had apparently been siphoning off petrol from a burst main in the general market area when a nearby fire sparked an explosion and subsequent fire. The charred remains of victims while terrified onlookers stand in the background and the fire crew who have earlier put out the fire stand in the background.
