North Shore Cliffs, on the shoreline side of Queen's Promenade, have been the location of colourful tableaux displays since 1932. The shot looks south towards the HeadlightsTableau, with illuminated light frames of local people and celebrities. Top Topiary, Animal Box and Queen and Crowns Tableaux rise centre mid-distance. Swan Lake and Totem Tastic Tableaux lie beyond. The green lights on Queen's Promenade, left of shot, mark a collection point where passing motorists may volunteer a contribution towards the running costs of the Illuminations, hence the sign 'Lit By You'.
