He is a member of the Tau BetaPi and Theta Nu Epsilon fraternities. Hopkins, Guy (, 95), was born inNew Orleans, La., January 15, 1874. Hehas been with the Southern Pacific Railroad,New Orleans, from 1895 to date, first asdraughtsman, then as chief draughtsman. In1902 he was promoted to the position of as-sistant master mechanic, and in 1904 wasagain advanced to operating engineer. Heis also president of the Biloxi Supply Co.,and a member of the New Orleans Chess,Checkers, and Whist Club. Mr. Hopkins is the son of Aristide and. Guy Hopkins Mamie (McNeil) Hopkins.
