Rapalje, traditional Dutch folk band on stage
Rapalje are a Celtic folkband from the Netherlands. They play Irish, Scottish (and Dutch) folkmusic with a difference. Dressed in medieval kilts, Dieb, William and Maceál play instruments like fiddle, tin whistle, gitouki (a combination of guitar and bouzouki), squeezebox, mouth organ, bodhrán and tea-chest bass. The diversity of instruments, the varied repertoire and original presentation are what make a Rapalje concert a unique experience.
