Scarlet Elf Cup Fungus In European folklore, it was said that wood elves drank morning dew from the cups. This image was captured across the canal from the mill building The mill & 'Model Village' was built on a Greenfield site in 1843. The developer was Thomas Blinkhorn Parke, the son of Robert Park, a local cotton mill owner. The house build for the workers all had gardens & outside toilets.
