I love electricity pylons; I find their abstract, gaunt shapes endlessly fascinating. Here we see one dominating the landscape in a field in Lower Radley at dawn. But what are the mysterious shiny black bags? Unfortunately, they are not giant alien droppings. They actually contain bale silage for feeding livestock; first take your conventional roll of hay, wrap in plastic and leave to ferment into yummy silage for farm animals.
