The Watertoren Berg en Dal was put into use on October 3, 1929. The tower with a capacity of 110,000 liters of water was responsible for the first group waters in Gelderland with a length of 50 km for the municipality of Ubbergen and Groesbeek. It is the highest and the highest water tower in the Netherlands
