Pictures show hordes of people who have loved-ones buried in this spooky cemetery setting up and enjoying picnics around the graves to commemorate the deceased in spectacular fashion. The sprawling landscape covers two-million square metres and holds three hundred thousand graves. Photographer Andrei Ghilan (31) visited the St. Lazarus Cemetery to capture the sheer number of people participating in this community event, which takes place each year in the weeks following the Orthodox Easter on May 1st.
