On 25th March 2017 Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of London to demand plans for Brexit are reversed. The protest was held just days before Prime Minister Theresa May was expected to trigger Article 50, which formally starst the process of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. It also coincided with the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, which established the European Economic Community, the EU's precursor.
