PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 06, 2018) A MK 54 recoverable exercise torpedo (REXTORP), surrounded by sea dye marker, floats back to the surface for recovery after being launched by the guided missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG-91) during a live fire exercise. Pinckney is underway conducting routine operations in the 3rd Fleet area of operations.
