He is a trus-tee of the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon, andwas for several years secretary of the schoolboard and acting visitor, and member of thelocal grange, Patrons of Husbandry. He is amember of the Congregational church. Hewas one of the founders and was first presidentof the Sharon Telephone Company and one ofthe original stockholders in the Sharon Elec-.
