The only previoushistory bearing on the case was that fiveyears ago he was injured in a runaway acci-dent and said his skull was fractured. Upon admission his general health was good, allthe wounds being healed. There was a bonydefect over right parietal bone about 2 diameter, and a scar was present over theright parietal region with some bony irregu-larity, also one in the left occipital regionsuperiorly. A healed wound 6 cm. long was presentover the right inner arm extending over thebrachial vessels to the pectoral muscles, oneover the anterior part of head of SECTION *1 Figure 7. lateral part of head, in posterior axillary re-gion and edge of scapula. A wound also waspresent to the right of the fourth thoracicspine, there were multiple wounds of bothbuttocks and below left lateral malleolus;the only symptoms complained of werenumbness of the outer part of the rightarm and forearm. The reflexes of 454 Gunshot Injuries to the Brain the right lower extremity are greater than inthe same arm. Cremasteric normal; ab-dominal reflexes diminished upon right side,especially in the upper segments. Slight in-coordination in both legs and marked clumsi-ness in left arm. Slight astereognosis in leftarm. No visual defect. Slight thickness ofspeech at times. Advise .i^-ray of spine overfourth dorsal. Can see no indication forcranial interference, but trouble may beremn
