The assumption is quite reason-able, and several points in favour of it are noticed in the introductionto the Report. ^ Allusion has already been made to the Cokaj-ne monumentsin Ashbourne churcii and elsewhere; ^ some of these are hererepresented. The fine monument to Sir William Cokayne (1560-1626),which was erected in St. Pauls Cathedral
