The governors were furnished by the Lombard WaterWheel Governor Company. The governor is very wellshown in Fig. 8, and is driven by a belt connected to asmall pulley on the generator shaft. The excellent re-sult given by these governors in other installations leavesno question as to their satisfactory operation in this governor operates the gates for each full set of fourwheels.
