In the 2nd room Miss Hattie Virgin for five years has mouldedthe minds and manners of the class whose age proclaim it in transitionbetween enfant terrible and small boy. She is admirably fitted for theposition, and has met its trying responsibilities in a manner that hasmost deeply imyjressed upon the people of Sulisbury her personalworth, and her value as a teacher.
