Sculptor Colin Wilbourn (in blue) speaking at the opening of his sculpture "Stell" in 2006, Falstone, Northumberland, England.
The work is based on a traditional Northumberland sheepfold or stell, but bizarrely contains sculpted sofas and cushions with steel throws and a steel and concrete carpet, which contain designs pertaining to the area gleaned from the residents of the area. It is located next to the River North Tyne on the riverside walk, and in the summer serves as a pleasant place to stop and sit.
