Hav-ing roughlysawed outthe parts ofthe rim, fitthe jointstogether, onthe drawingor outline, taking care that the parts of the rim are so fittedtogether that they will describe in the rough asnearly as possible a perfect circle. Then gluethe second layer on to the first, breaking jointswith the sections, so as to form a rough ring, asshown in Fig. 42. Next secure this preparedring to the face plate in proper position so that.
