This pattern held throughout the rest of the period of observation, 160 r progeny weighing 8>9<fc, and 320 r progeny only 37% of controls at 75 days. Irradiation at 17 \ days Following irradiation at 17-J days there was no significant effect on birth weights. By 12 days 320 r progeny had a lower weight than controls, and remained.
