With this end inview courses are offered which will make the studentthoroughly familiar with the language and with the chiefexegetical and critical problems of the Hebrew Old Testa-ment. The Junior year is given largely to the learning ofthe language and the acquisition of a working Introductory Hebrew Method and Manual,based on Genesis I-VIII, and Harpers Elements of He-brew are used as text-books. Genesis IX-XX are readmore rapidly. The chapters in Leviticus, Numbers, andDeuteronomy that treat of the Old Testament Feasts andSacred Seasons are studied closely.
