Blue Bantam An exceptionally dark green strain of Laxtonian, maturing about two days later. Canner's Gem Can be classed in type between Premium Gem and Ad- vancer, running more to single pods than the latter variety. Primarily for canners, it reaches canning stage half way between Alaska and Perfection. Vines dark green. Pods single and double, light green, blunt, straight; contain 6 to 7 peas.
