Cefiderocol antibiotic drug, molecular model
Cefiderocol drug molecule. Ball-and-stick molecular model of cefiderocol, an antibiotic within the cephalosporin class. It is used in the treatment of complicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) when there are limited alternative medications available. It may also be used in the treatment of multi-drug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Its chemical formula is C30H34ClN7O10S2. Atoms are represented as spheres with conventional colour coding: hydrogen (white), carbon (black), oxygen (red), nitrogen (blue), sulphur (yellow), and chlorine (green).
