Full rigged model, five feet long, made before July, 1813,when it was given to the Salem East India Marine Society byCapt. Isaac Hull. It is the only accurate, contemporary modelknown and was followed by the U. S. naval authorities whenrestoring the Constitution at Boston, 1907. The museumpossesses a signed letter from Captain Hull dated August 5, 1813, referring to his gift of this model; also, a most interestingbill of May, 1814, acknowledging the receipt of twelve dollarsby Thomas Webb, in behalf of English Prisoners of Warfor Repairing, &c, &c. the Constit
