Thibaut Delloue, officer of the deck aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64), observes the Russian Federation Steregushchiy-class frigate RFN Boiky (FFGHM 532) from the ship’s bridge wing while on patol in the Baltic Sea May 8, 2017. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting its third patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
