Potash evaporation ponds and Shafer Trail road from Dead Horse Point

Utah Scenic Byway, also known as the Potash Road. All along the road are Indian rock art panels and several three-toed dinosaur tracks. Rare etchings can be found done by Fremont Indians, whose homeland adjoined that of the Ancestral Pueblo people along the Colorado River, about a thousand years ago.
