Laterite passageway delineated by large stone stakes (Sao Nang Riang) leading to the main tower or prasat at Sadok Kok Thom Historical Park, Thailand

Prasat Sadok Kok Thom is an 11th-century Khmer temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, located in eastern day Thailand, near the border town of Aranyaprathet. Built of red sandstone and laterite, it is a monument to the artistic and cultural accomplishments of the Khmer Empire, which ruled much of Southeast Asia from the end of the 9th century to the 15th century.
