Command chief medical adviser for the 200th Military Police Command, Lt. Col. Joseph Kline, shares his advise on maintaining medical readiness to attendees of a Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Huddle in Aurora, Colorado, May 12, 2018. Command Sgt. Maj. Craig Owens, command sergeant major for the 200th MP Command, hosted all of the brigade and battalion CSMs under the 200th at the huddle from May 11-13. Among the priorities discussed, sergeants major went through the command’s training guidance, conducted a senior NCO professional development session, and received and discussed policy and regulation updates, as well as briefings on how to improve Soldier and unit readiness. Owens also tasked attendees with developing strategies on implementation guidance for command policies, to ensure all battalions and brigades use the same requirements. Attendees were able to share their thoughts on how to best address requirements across not only MP Soldiers but non-MP Soldiers in the command as well. Owens’ message to all attendees was simple: “you are one part of the 200th Command. What you do in your battalion affects the whole command, good or bad, it affects everybody.”
