It is named after Saint Quentin, who is said to have been martyred here in the 3rd century. The Town Hall (L'hôtel de ville) of Saint-Quentin is famous for its peal of bells (37 bells). The town Hall was completed in 1509 and has a flamboyant Gothic facade, which is decorated with 173 stone sculptures.
