ARABIAN GULF (April 18, 2017) Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Barbara Leaf receives honors upon her arrival aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77). The ship is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
