Dined, then the brief afternoon hour purchasing things for fire ? 2 Bushels of Coal, Shovel &c. Evening got fire after some difficulty, and then drew Reveille cut. Then fire went out from inattention. Wrote the preceding six pages, and now am going to bed, after head-washing.
