A tall growing Cape bulb with large showy flowers borne on tall spikes in various bright colors, and freely produced ; especially useful for growing in pots. 15 cts. each ; $ per dozen. ARUM DRACUNCULUS. (Dragon Arum}. Flowers one foot long, purple, red and black, blue, stem beautifully marbled, leaves handsome, resem- bling a small palm, a rapid grower, making a curious and ornamental pot plant. 20 cts. each ; § per dozen. Arum Crinitum {Fly-Catcher). A native of Tur- key. Its great greenish red spotted spathe about a foot in length is twisted at the base and dotted in- side with violet colored hairs directed downward, preventing flies and other insects which have been attracted into its capacious throat from making their escape. 30 cts. each ; § per doz. Arum Syriacum. A beautiful autumn-flowering species, rivalling the black calla. The flowers, which are very large, are quite black inside, while outside they are of a rich olive green color, blotched and copiously striped. This novelty is sure to please amateurs and lovers of the curious and interesting, the more so because the flowers have no disagreeable odor. The bulbs bloom almost as soon as planted. 75 cts.
