DIEGO (July 16, 2017) Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Teresa Lopez, from Grand Prairie, Texas, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), sings the national anthem at Petco Park before a San Diego Padres baseball game. The Padres recognized Makin Island’s homecoming after a seven-month deployment to the 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
