King's Lynn Public Library, Norfolk England


King's Lynn library was funded by the Scottish-born American philanthropist Andrew Carnegie who was present at its opening in 1904. The library is in gothic style and constructed from the local red carstone and brick. Carnegie gave away vast amounts of money to establish schools, universities and libraries in America, England and other countries.
