Shell-covered lodge in central London gardens. FULL DETAILS IN DESCRIPTION.

This small lodge (or gardener's shed) covered in pebble-dash with embedded sea-shells is in Lower Grosvenor Gardens close to Victoria Station in London. The gardens were remodelled in 1952 as a commemoration of the Free French and to celebrate Anglo-French friendship. The shed, one of a pair designed by M. Moreaux, the Chief Architect to the Musees Nationaux de France, was presented by the French government.
