Britain's biggest Daffodil FestivaL IN THRIPLOW,HERTFORDSHIRE


Organisers of Britain's biggest Daffodil Festival are breathing a sigh of relief after hosts of golden daffodils bloomed just in time for the big glorious displays of daffodils come after last year's event saw NO daffodils in flower for the first time in 40 than 10,000 people from all across the UK visit the tiny village of Thriplow in Hertfordshire each year to admire its swathes of spring last March for the first time since the annual Spring festival began in 1969 there were no brilliant yellow blooms after the UK had its coldest winter for 30 disappointed visitors, who come by the coach load from across the country, cancelled their year the festival is a week later on March 26 and 27 and thanks to a warm and sunny Spring there will be swathes of daffodils blowing in the breeze.
