Crossing the Kavango at dusk by mokoro canoe
Europeans drew borders between countries. Unfortunately this split tribes and villages. On the Zambezi between Namibia and Angola the local mokoro trade still goes on, ferrying people and goods between one half of the village and relations on the other side.
