Electrical energy is purchased from the Empire Dis-trict Electric Company at 33,000 volts, three-phase. Inorder to have equipment furnished on time, it beingfound impossible to get satisfactory shipping dates frommanufacturers on new equipment, the substation equip-ment was purchased from the Cincinnati & ColumbusRailway. Only one substation is now operating, but the.
