C. in November, 1880,to the vacant pastorate, buthe remained only till Janu-ary of the following this time, on account ofgreat scarcity of priests, thenew ordinary, invited theCapuchin Fathers of Cal-vary, Wisconsin, to establishthemselves there. In May,1881, the Very Rev. Bona-venture Frey, provincialof that order, after due reconnoiter-ing, concluded to accept the parish.
