NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (Dec. 10, 2015) Seaman Fernando Alvarez, a native of Compton, Calif., seals dog-ears on a mooring line on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently undergoing an extended planned incremental maintenance availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
