Richard Millikin4 (2), third son of Roger3 (1), b. in Ireland, went with hismother and brothers to Canada, and later to Bloomfield, O., where he becamea successful farmer, and was a man respected for his intelligence, ability, andintegrity, in the community. He m. Rebecca Millikin, a daughter of Thomasand Mary (Boon) Millikin, who d. Dec. 13, 1874. Richard Millikin d. Oct. 24,1890, leaving two sons. See 5th generation. 4. Alexander Millikin4 (1), fourth son of Roger3 (1), b. in Ireland, Oct. 31,1816;m. Jan. 25, 1844, at Smiths Falls, Canada, Mary Miller. He came fromIreland to Canada along with his brothers, in 1831, and later migrated to Bloom-ington, Trumbull Co., O., where he owned a farm and lived for many years,and where his numerous family were born and brought up.
