The United States Coast Guard Cutter Active (WMEC-618) travels across San Francisco Bay past the Golden Gate Bridge


The United States Coast Guard Cutter Active (WMEC-618) passes under the Golden Gate Bridge as part of the 2010 San Francisco Fleet Week Parade of Ships. The Active is the seventh Coast Guard vessel to bear the name. She was launched at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on July 31, 1965 and officially Commissioned as a Coast Guard Cutter on September 1, 1966.
