Fire fighters who are specialists in Water and flood Rescue are just two of Ten Water Rescue unit that have been deployed and are on 24 Hour Standy-by. The Boating crews from the Midlands supported by Northampton crews from Mereway and Wellingborough fire stations have spent most of the afternoon calling on residents checking on there welfare and their needs fire crews have been out since the rivers peaked and have carried out many rescued.©UKNIP
